ABOUT
Collar & Comb is a small family run dog grooming salon based on the outskirts of Saffron Walden at the beautiful Riverside Barns. We believe that each dog is unique and special, often needing lots of love, care and reassurance throughout their grooming experience. Here at Collar & Comb we believe the dog's welfare comes first and our aim is to create a calm environment for our dogs whilst giving them a top quality groom.
Level 3 qualified, insured and canine-first-aid trained. We are experienced with breed standard, pet grooms, and hand stripping. We work with all sizes and personalities and welcome nervous or anxious dogs.
Services
All of our grooms start with a luxury hydro-bath. We use only top quality bathing and finishing products which are kind and gentle to the dogs skin. We do not use cabinet dryers.
Puppy Intro Groom
A gentle introduction to the grooming process. Your new pup will be bathed, dried & brushed, followed by a face, paw, nail & hygiene area tidy-up.
Full Groom
Bath, blowdry, brush-out, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, hygiene area cleared, followed by the trim of your choice.
Hand Strip
All the elements of a full groom, replacing the trim with a hand stripping session, removing the dead coat by hand.
De-shed
All of the elements of a full groom, replacing the trim with a thorough de-shedding session. Optional scissor tidy of dog's furnishings, such as tail, skirt and leg featherings.
Bath, Blowdry & Tidy
A luxury hydro-bath followed by a blowdry and brush out. Ears are cleaned, nails trimmed; there is the option of a face/paw/hygiene area tidy.
Extra services
Teeth cleaning, nail clipping, ear plucking and anal gland expressing all available on request.
